All the hype is up for NBA fans with the NBA 11-12 Draft just hours away. All eyes are on the Knicks and there chase to get there missing piece.......a point guard. Knicks are going after former BYU point guard, Jimmer Fredette. Jimmer had an amazing previous year in the NCAA tournament, but can he play with the NBA? That is the question about every player in the draft. After current Knicks point guard, Chauncey Billups, was injured in this recent post season, New York realized they need to get a point guard. Chris Paul, being a free agent, is getting looked at by plenty of teams, including the Knicks. The Knicks realized it would be hard to get current Hornets point guard, Chris Paul, they thought they would try to get a point guard in tonights draft. recent trade rumor sprouted that the Knicks are looking to trade with the Bobcats. If the trade went through it would be Chauncey Billups and Landry Fields for Stephen Jackson, Desonga Diop, and the 9th pick, which the Knicks hope they could use the 9th pick for Jimmer Fredette. This trade would be a risk because Utah has the 3rd pick and the 12th pick which they might grab Jimmer.
