Pau Gasol is the focus of trade right now. Rumors say he could be traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Love. Pau Gasol released a statement quoting "My desire is to stay with the Lakers. I don't have control over it but would like to stay with the Lakers for as many years i can to be able to remain eligible for the maximum possible championships." Timberwolves were interested in adding Gasol after finally agreeing to a deal to bring Pau's former Spanish teammate Ricky Rubio to the NBA. My opinion on the whole thing is Gasol helped the Lakers win the last two rings and has been a great help to the Lakers. Now after a bad post season with some off court issues everyone is saying hes a failure. I say give him a chance and i'm betting he will come back strong and be a big help to he Lakers this upcoming season.
