Today, after all the speculation of 2-time league MVP Steve Nash and Marcin Gortat (which was picked up in a multiple team trade during the regular season) being traded, Phoenix President of Basketball Operations, Lon Babby released a statement saying Steve Nash is not going anywhere and also added Macin Gortat to the untouchable list. 37 year old, Steve Nash has never publicly came out and said anything about wanting to be traded. This upcoming season will be an interesting one as Nash enters his final year left on his contract with the Phoenix Suns. The trade rumor of Steve Nash was trading him for the 2 pick in the first round from the Minnesota Timberwolves, which it seems is a very popular trade proposal stating that the Los Angeles Lakers are also looking to get there hands on the second round pick.
