NBA Lockout Results

In the result of the NBA Lockout many players have or have been thinking about going to play overseas. Recent articles and stories have been released that Miami Heat star, Dwayne Wade, has said he will play basketball this winter, weather it is in the NBA or overseas. Also Oklahoma City Thunder's current Small Forward, Kevin Durant, has considered signing with the Turkish team Besiktas. Ron Artest, also known as Metta World Peace, has talked and scheduled meetings with the Cheshire Jets in the UK. Some players have already signed with teams overseas like Deron Williams. I think, for the players to go to play basketball overseas is a great opportunity to stay in shape and play competitive basketball, but at the same time it would depend if the players contract had the return option meaning, once the NBA lockout is resolved that the players may return to there NBA teams.
