U.S. gold medalist member of the 1968 U.S. basketball team recently passed away at age 67. He was born September 5th 1993 in Montgomery, West Virginia. He played in the ABA and was a 6'2" guard. He was also named to the 1970 ABA all-rookie team. Barrett was also named the 1968 Amateur Athlete of the Year in West Virginia. Barrett died August 8, 2011 after a long illness.
