Dallas Mavericks acquired Vince Carter and Lamar Odom. After winning the NBA championship, the Mavericks are obviously looking to defend their title, but with the shortened season, there old age is a threat. Dallas has added players like Vince Carter and Lamar Odom to help with there players fatigue and can make quick subs while not worrying about loosing the lead while the substitutes are in. Maybe Shawn Marions New Dew can give them a spark in the beginning of the season starting Christmas Day. The Mavericks will kick-off their season playing against the Los Angeles Lakers.
