New Jersey Nets Vs. Washington Wizards (December 26 '11)


For both the Wizards and Nets, today was there season opener. In Washington, the Wizards and New Jersey went head to head but John Wall and his crew ended up coming short and losing by 6 points. The Nets forward, Kris Humphries and guard, Deron Williams both collided for 44 points (Humphries 21pts & Williams 23 pts). The Wizards were up by 21 at one point but in the 3rd quarter Andray Blatch fell onto the back part of Nick Young's ankle and he went out to the locker room but luckily came back in the 4th quarter. Washington's spark, John Wall dropped 13 points and 5 assists and injured guard, Nick Young ended with 16 points. The Wizards end up blowing a 21 point lead and losing by 6. Final Score: NJN 90 - WAS 84.
